Less Talk, More Action.

To describe the new year for all you who have decided to read this blog I have created to document my thoughts and travels, I’d like to share with you my plans for 2017:

Today is the halfway point in the first month of the year and so far I have not only blown through all my savings, but managed to max out a brand new credit card, YAY for “new me”. Let me say, however, that the fact that I even had any saving speaks volume to the maturity level I have reached as we concluded 2016. 2016, man what a year. It’s hard for me to even think about the crazy experiences I’ve had in the past year, but I will try my best to make sure they all have been documented on this blog in 2017. 2017 is going to be just like 2016 but so so sooo much better. The things I have in store for this year are big, like a move to San Diego in the fall, when I get home from my summer spent in Spain. First things first though, I am planning a trip to Iceland (that is, if I can get a handle on my finances). But, ICELAND!! Aurora Borealis has only ever been something of a dream for me, but 2017 me is ready to take on everything, all packed into these next 365 (well, 350 now) days.

I would also like to share with everyone that I got my nose pierced! Not as huge as the travel news, but this has been something I had been wanting to do for the longest time, I used to buy fake nose ring/studs since I was 14 years old, and this past Friday, I just was talking about how I wanted to do it, so I stopped talking and just did it. THAT is how I want this year to go. Less Talk, More Action. I implore all of you reading this now, to just take a step back for a second, figure out what you have been itching to do for so long, ask yourself “what’s stopping me?” and if possible, JUST DO IT. carpe diem the shit out of 2017, I know I will be.
